Yes, this is TV news, but it's so good we had to share it. It's really pretty, pretty, pretty good news for anyone who enjoys the misanthropic and often misunderstood Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm – he’s agreed to bring the show back for another year.
Unlike many series, which are subject to their networks’ whims or on a strict schedule to keep pumping out season after season, Curb is strictly under the control of writer/producer/star David, who can choose whether to make each new run depending on if he has a good idea.
"After much soul searching - and by the way, it was nowhere to be found - I have decided to do another season of Curb," David says in a press release. "I look forward to the end of shooting, when I can once again resume the hunt for my elusive soul. I know it's here somewhere or perhaps in the rugged mountainous regions of Pakistan."
He’s not releasing any details on what might happen in the show’s eighth season, but all we know is we’re glad to see him deign to make more. It’ll film this summer for a debut next year.
