Cunning Stunts

Kamikaze action star Jackie Chan will finally be rewarded for the years of hurling himself from buildings on Sunday (19 May), when he is bestowed with an award for Best Action Star at the second annual World Stunt Awards. Having broken more bones in the line of duty than any other major screen star, Chan's proclivity for performing dangerous feats himself has surely caused many a sleepless night for studio insurers. Received last year by Arnold Schwarzenegger, the award will be given to Jackie in recognition of his contribution to Action Films and his continued support of the stunt industry. Also receiving honorary awards will be Michael Bay for Best Action Director, and legendary stunt man Buddy Van Horn, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.
