Kevin Smith has found yet another new way to get the word out about his new film, Clerks II.

While he’s been using online promotion for years and runs one of the better websites for his fans to interact with him, this is one of the rare chances that Smith followers get to appear on screen. Well, by name, anyway.

The deal is this – today at 8pm (that’s British Summer Time), the first 10,000 MySpace users to add the Clerks II site as a friend on their own page will get their name in the credits of the film. Head here to find the Clerks II page. And good luck.
