With shooting already underway on 22 Jump Street, the sequel – lest there be any doubt – to 21 Jump Stree****t, the cast is filling out. The latest recruit for the film is Submarine’s Craig Roberts{ =nofollow}.

**22 Jump Street **reunites Channing Tatum’s Jenko and Jonah Hill’s Schmidt as the undercover cops move on to their next mission: cracking a crime ring within a college fraternity. The new gig will test the limits of the central pair’s friendship once again as Jenko finds new bonds with the frat brothers (including Wyatt Russell) and Schmidt feels threatened. Roberts is set to play a character named Spencer.

He’s joining a cast that also include Ice Cube back as Captain Dickson, Jimmy Tatro, Kurt Krause and Joe Chrest. Phil Lord and Chris Miller are once more directing, working this time from a script by Oren Uziel, Rodney Rothman and Michael Bacall. Since hitting a lot of radars with Submarine, Roberts has appeared in the likes of Red Lights and** Jane Eyre**. He’s reunited with Richard Ayoade for **The Double **(due 2014) and has recently worked on Neighbours (not the Aussie soap) opposite Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne.

We can expect** 22 Jump Street** to arrive here on June 6 next year.
