Proven horror filmmaker and expert pumpkin carver Corin Hardy is back in the scare game for a new movie. He's attached to make Every House Is Haunted, which Netflix has now bought.

Jason Pagan and Andrew Deutschman wrote the script, which is partly based on Ian Rogers' short story The House On Ashley Avenue, part of a collection called (no-one look surprised) Every House Is Haunted. The plot focuses on an insurance investigator trying to debunk claims that a couple’s death was caused by a haunted house, but having his doubts challenged by a psychic and the mysterious occurrences he witnesses with his own eyes.

This springs from Sam Raimi and Zainab Azizi's Raimi Productions and producer Roy Lee. The producing partners shopped the project around Hollywood, and Netflix jumped at the chance to make it.
