Stoll, who is currently on big screens in Non-Stop, is in early talks to appear in the film in an unspecified capacity. Unsurprisingly given Marvel's usual levels of caginess around such details, his role has not been disclosed. Should he spill ink on a deal, Stoll will join Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena and Patrick Wilson, though all the casting bar Rudd and Douglas is still hovering between rumour and reality until the official announcements are made.

Wright, co-writing with Joe Cornish, has scripted the story of Scott Lang and Hank Pym, the two men to wear the Ant-Man suit. It all kicks off when Pym discovers particles that let him shrink to insect size and control the small creatures. Lang, a reformed thief who initially thinks that the technology could be used for dodgier means, ends up being more of a hero. The cameras will be rolling soon in Atlanta and the film is set for release here on July 17, 2015.
