Since leaving The Daily Show, Rob Corddry has been steadily building up the roles, and often making his small appearances count in otherwise deadly dull movies (Failure To Launch, anyone?)
Now he’s getting a shot at a bigger role, landing the part of Ben Stiller’s best mate in the new Farrelly brothers film. It’s shooting now in San Francisco, but despite being based on Neil Simon’s The Heartbreak Kid, it doesn’t have a title itself.
The plot of the previously announced comedy finds Stiller marrying the woman he thinks is his perfect match. But when she turns out to be a nightmare on the honeymoon, he falls for someone else (Michelle Monaghan).
Expect the movie some time next year – hopefully with an actual name.
