Warner Brothers is headed back to college. The studio has signed up Nick Thune’s comedy pitch Community College.

Hoping to bottle some of that Old School spirit, the plot follows two 25-year-old slackers who have spent seven years trying – or rather, not trying - to earn two-year degrees. And the film already has one cast member- Thune himself. Talk about a sweet deal: he’s starring and co-writing the script with Kevin and Kyle Flynn.

Thune’s been getting himself hired a lot recently- he’s in the upcoming Unaccompanied Majors, Robin Williams comedy Licence To Wed and holiday laugh-fest Spring Breakdown.
