Long in development, the Coming To America sequel has shifted its release plan from cinemas to Amazon, but it'll be released all the same, and now you can find new images from Coming 2 America, featuring Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones and more, both above and in the gallery lower down the page.
Craig Brewer is directing, from a screenplay written by Kenya Barris, Barry W. Blaustein and David Sheffield, with story by Blaustein, Sheffield and Justin Kanew, based on characters created by Eddie Murphy. The story returns us to the lush country of where Zamunda, newly crowned King Akeem (Murphy) and his trusted confidante Semmi (Hall) embark on an all-new hilarious adventure that has them traversing the globe from their great African nation to the borough of Queens, New York. And yes, part of the story finds Akeem discovering that his family might be bigger than he previously suspected.

"What I’m most excited about the audience seeing is how amazing this movie is," Murphy says in a statement. "We have incredible new cast members like Wesley Snipes, Tracy Morgan, Leslie Jones, Jermaine Fowler, KiKi Layne and my own daughter, Bella Murphy, among others, who are all so funny and really brought their A-game. It's just a great picture and I’m excited to have audiences see it."
Audiences will finally see via Amazon Prime Video on 5 March.
