While 20th Century Fox has largely tried to play coy about the contents of its big panel at Comic-Con, due to take over Hall H on Saturday afternoon, that hasn’t stopped the company from plugging both Wolverine and now X-Men: Days Of Future Past elsewhere at the event. Mutant points go to Superhero Hype, which has spotted the Trask Company’s Sentinels making their menacing, if disembodied, first appearance.
The Sentinels in this story are the creation of Bolivar Trask (whom current all-but confirmed speculation has embodied by Peter Dinklage in the new X-movie). They’re hulking, mechanised brutes that are used to corral mutants into concentration camps and kill those who resist. We’ve previously seen one of the robots’ heads in X-Men: The Last Stand, but the new film takes the design in a new direction, with a look vaguely reminiscent of I, Robot.
Director Bryan Singer has also gotten in on the robo-action, tweeting a new photo from the Trask team, which you can gawk at below. There's also a full Trask viral site online.

Days Of Future Past finds the mutant heroes fighting for their future against a dark world where they’re hunted and imprisoned. It will require the efforts of both the present day team and their younger versions in the 1970s.
With a sprawling cast that includes Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Fan Bingbing, Anna Paquin and Daniel Cudmore, X-Men: Days Of Future Past will out on July 17 next year.
