If you live in the Lincolnshire area, look away now. The new trailer for Sacha Baron Cohen’s spy comedy Grimsby has landed and it is going to do nothing for the town’s tourist board. Like Spectre meets Shameless or The Bourne Unemployment, this one riffs on the idea of a government assassin's long-lost brother living a life of… well, take a look and see for yourself.

Mark Strong is Sebastian Graves, MI6 super-spook; Baron Cohen is his very gormless brother Nobby. The pair have been separated for many years but to Sebastian’s obvious chagrin, they’ve been reunited. Nobby means well but he’s more bushel than lantern in the smarts stakes, and his unofficial occupation – England football hooligan – is a source of embarrassment for his sibling.

Nobby lives in Grimsby with his 11 kids and girlfriend (Rebel Wilson), but what he wants most of all is to have his brother back in his life. But on his quest for a reunion he stumbles upon a terrorist plot that makes him suddenly indispensable.

The trailer shows the arch villain (Penélope Cruz) behind the plot and reveals a little more of what the bad guys have in store. It involves a deadly virus, some exotic locations and the chance for Nobby to show what he’s really made of.

Directed by Luc Besson protégé Louis Leterrier, Grimsby also stars Isla Fisher, Rebel Wilson, Gabourey Sidibe and Penélope Cruz. It lands in UK cinemas on February 24.
