Right now, it’s all about the Clooney. George’s second film as director, Good Night and Good Luck, is getting raves everywhere; he’s about to surely cause no end of controversy again with a starring role in CIA drama Syriana and is currently shooting another film, The Good German, with his good friend Steven Soderbergh. So it’s no wonder that a clutch of ever so respectable actors have opted to join him in his next project.

Tom Wilkinson, Tilda Swinton and Sydney Pollack have all signed on to join Clooney in Michael Clayton, written and directed by Bourne Supremacy screenwriter Tony Gilroy. Clooney will play the titular Clayton, a New York lawyer known as ‘The Janitor’ for his knack for cleaning up his high-profile clients messy personal problems. The film finds him enduring the worst four days of his entire career.
