The Circle Is Complete

Gore Verbinski's remake of the Japanese frightener Ringu was enough to keep you from turning on the telly at night, so hopes are high that the sequel will be similarly creepy. There's no excuse for it not to be either, considering that Ringu director Hideo Nakata has taken on the project personally. Anyway, it's light outside so, if you're feeling up to it, why not take a look at the teaser trailer for Ring Two here. Still with us? Haven't been scared to death? Good. As you can see, it's something of a mish-mash of imagery (not unlike the deadly tape in the film, really) and the eerie voiceover isn't actually so much eerie as hard to hear. Still, the film itself will likely make more sense (or not, as the case may be) so we'll just hang on for that. Oh and by the way, you only have seven days to live. Not really.
