Christopher Lee – An Apology

Apologies, grovelling and deep regret are all in order. Empire Online would like to make it clear that the headline 'Lee Prefers Lucas' was a confusing headline that actually bears no resemblance whatsoever to the truth. The headline, which made reference to an Empire interview with Lee in which he extolled the virtues of working with George Lucas, suggested that Lee preferred working with Lucas over Jackson and Tim Burton, when in fact Lee was merely explaining that he found Lucas 'the easiest one, the most laidback' of three directors he'd worked with recently. Christopher Lee would like it made clear that he enjoyed working with both George Lucas, Peter Jackson and Tim Burton equally.
