Everybody’s favourite character actor and possibly the unluckiest man on Oscar night – Paul Giamatti, in case you were wondering – has joined the cast of Vince Vaughn’s untitled Christmas comedy.
He’ll be displaying a belly that shakes not unlike a bowl full of jelly when he suits up to play Santa Claus. Vaughn is his bad seed brother; a character previously called “Fred Claus” though that and the film’s own name are now in flux as there was a rights clash.
The movie will see Vaughan reunite with Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin, while you'll next see Giamatti in M Night Shyamalan's Lady In The Water.
