Because it's fun to check in with the denizens of Bricksb... sorry... Apocalypseburg, and for studios it's never the wrong time to remind us of upcoming movies, here comes a holiday themed short from the Lego Movie 2 crew.
While Lucy (Elizabeth Banks) is focused on the destruction wrought by the DUPLO invaders in the years since the original movie, Emmet (Chris Pratt) is naturally more concerned with raising everyone's spirits via a big, Christmas-themed bash.
But though the locals make quick work of a huge party and an even huge-er-er (not really a word) tree that can be seen from space, the lights and noise draws the attention of Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi (Tiffany Haddish), Sweet Mayhem (Stephanie Beatriz) and more, new characters we'll properly meet when the movie itself comes out.
The Lego Movie 2 makes its way to screens on 8 February, but meanwhile you can tide yourself over with some eggnog-loving Batman (Will Arnett) action.
