Christine Jeffs, the director of the well-received indie comedy Sunshine Cleaning, is at it again with Wonderful Tonight.
Jeffs has signed on to direct the Castle Rock romantic comedy about a confirmed bachelor who has a one-night stand with a girl, which blossoms into an unlikely romance after she gets Knocked Up. Sorry, no idea why we used capitals there – after she become pregnant. You know, like in the movie Knocked Up.
Of course, we’re sure that there the similarity ends, and we’re sure that J. Mills Goodloe’s script is good enough to stand out from the crowd.
Martin Shafer and Liz Glotzer, of Castle Rock, will produce.
