Indie crime thriller Sacrifice is slowly building its cast, with Christian Slater, Devon Bostik and Kim Coates all signing on board.
Cuba Gooding Jr has already been cast in the film, which sees a tough undercover cop drawn into a heroin ring when a young defector from the crime gang running the drugs operation leaves his five-year-old sister in the care of the hard-boiled ‘tec.
Slater’s not playing the cop (that would be Gooding Jr) – he’s on for a cameo as an unconventional priest with a military background.
Damien Lee wrote the film and has already started directing it in Ottowa.
