Since he was launched into movie stardom thanks to the likes of Guardians Of The Galaxy and Jurassic World, Chris Pratt has rarely been seen on TV. But he's headed back to his old stomping ground for a collaboration with Magnificent Seven director Antoine Fuqua. The pair is developing new drama series The Terminal List.
Adapting Jack Carr's bestseller, the eventual show will be a conspiracy thriller that combines elevated action with deep psychological questions about the cost of pushing our nation’s highest trained operators too far. The story follows Reece (Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Reece returns home with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him...
Pratt and Fuqua brought the book to MRC Television, which will shop the series around to networks and streaming services. Fuqua's on to direct at least one episode, while David DiGilio will do the heavy lifting of writing the initial script.
Back on the big screen, Pratt will be heard in Pixar's Onward, which arrives here on 6 March, and sci-fi thriller The Tomorrow War, scheduled to open on 25 December. Happy Chris-mas?
