Chris Evans has agreed to the lead in directing duo Adam and Mark Kassen’s indie drama Puncture.
The film, which takes a caustic look at the current state of healthcare across the pond, will se Evans’ drug-hooked lawyer suing a big health company.
"From the moment we heard about this story, we connected to what it says about the current state of our medical industry and the flawed hero that tries to fix it," Adam Kassen tells Variety.
Jesse L Martin, Michael Biehn and Marshall Bell are also all on board to fill out the cast, working from Chris Lopta’s script. The big question, of course, is this: will this get in the way if he does get the Captain America role he was recently rumoured for?
