Never one to leave his gadgets alone when he has the budget to change them, Michael Bay has opted to launch a new version of Bumblebee for Transformers 4. Sadly for fans of the original ‘toons and toys, he’s not reverting to a classic VW Bug. That would be far too uncool for the master of Bayhem, who has opted for a sleek 2014 concept Camaro, above. Sure, this may just look like a fancy car, but it's a shape-changing robot really.
While Bumblebee has always been a Camaro in the Transformers films, he’s now even more cutting edge, described by the director as “the final jewel in the Transformers 4 crown.” Probably while jumping up and down and clapping with joy.
This car's certainly shiny, though what that means for the character is anyone’s guess. He likely still won’t have an actual voice, though.
Bumblebee will be back with the usual assortment of Autobots and Decepticons (including some newcomers, as seen below) and a fresh batch of humans: humans Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci and TJ Miller. They’re all part of a story that sees humanity picking up the pieces after the traumatic Battle Of Chicago and managing to open a Pandora’s Box of new robo-trouble.{New Tranformers 4 Cars}
