Thanks to Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes turning out to be one of the most enjoyable – and successful – blockbusters of last year, director Rupert Wyatt has found himself in demand. But he hasn’t locked in a definite possibility until now, as he’s attached to direct Charlize Theron in a sci-fi action pic called Agent 13.
Newcomer T.S. Nolan has written the script which… well, we can’t actually tell you that part just yet, because it’s being kept a strict secret. But we do know there will be an agent in it. And there might even be twelve others.
As of right now, there’s no studio on board to make the thing. But with the Rise director collaborating with an Oscar-winning actress, the big guns are already circling to lock this one down.
Theron was last seen in Jason Reitman’s Young Adult. She’ll next crop up as the youth-obsessed Queen Ravenna in Snow White And The Huntsman (due June 1) and also has a role in another film arriving one the same day. Something beginning with P? Well, it’ll come to us…
