Being your own boss can be tough. And when you also need to take charge of your life? Even more challenging. That's part of the story told in Sophia Amoruso's book #Girlboss, which is now serving as the inspiration for a new Netflix original series set to star Tomorrowland's Britt Robertson.
Robertson is starring as Sophia, who had been living as a broke anarchist and was staunchly refusing to evolve into adulthood. But then she finds that she can merge her passion with entrepreneurial spirit and starts selling vintage clothes. As her business grows, she starts to learn how to run both her job and her life.
The new series, due on the streaming service next year, comes from Pitch Perfect writer Kay Cannon, who will run the show and is produced by Charlize Theron, Laverne McKinnon and Christian Ditter, who is on board as one of the directors.
As for Robertson, she'll be seen in The Space Between Us, which recently put out a trailer.
