You've probably seen at least a couple of trailers for The Huntsman: Winter's War already. How about one with a focus on Chris Hemsworth's titular character? The magic mirror that is the interweb provides...

The prequel sees the story's clock spin back to before the time of Snow White (so no Kristen Stewart this time around), when Freya (Emily Blunt) suffered a nasty betrayal, which we now learn was caused by Ravenna (Charlize Theron) because she was jealous of Frey's beautiful new baby girl. Sisters, eh?

Heartbroken and unable to let it go, Freya lets her ice powers surge and, while hiding away at a wintry palace, she starts building an army of warriors, training them from a young age to be hardened fighters who value lust for combat over love.

But her two top huntsmen – Eric (Hemsworth) and Sara (Jessica Chastain) – can’t help but fall for one another in defiance of Freya’s wishes. And that’s just the beginning of the tale, which sees Ravenna restored after her clash with Snow and Eric using the Magic Mirror and all manner of trouble for the residents of the enchanted land.

We'll finally see the film when it arrives on April 4.
