It’s a busy time for Charlie Hunnam and Margot Robbie in terms of job offers. While one (Robbie) is busy shooting several big films, Hunnam is receiving overtures for others as he sees the final season of Sons Of Anarchy about to air in the US. Now, if the talks work out, the two could be joining forces for **The Mountain Between Us.

J Mills Goodloe originally adapted the script from Charles Martin’s novel, which finds two strangers surviving a plane crash in the Colorado woods and braving the elements together. The experience draws them closer and they fall in love. Hunnam would play Ben Trace, a doctor and climbing fanatic who helps injured writer Ashley (Robbie) as they make their way down a mountain in unforgiving weather. Back in 2012, when he was fielding every possible film under the sun, Michael Fassbender was considering the lead, but he has since moved on.

Paradise Now’s Hany Abu-Assad is set to direct, working from a screenplay that has most recently been polished by Scott Frank.

Hunnam is lining up the first of Guy Ritchie’s planned King Arthur adventures, and is rumoured to be in contention to play Snake Plisskin in the remake of Escape From New York. He’ll also be seen in Guillermo del Toro’s haunted house horror Crimson Peak and is expected to return as Raleigh Becket in the director’s** Pacific Rim** sequel.

Robbie, who just a day ago was linked with the live-action take on **Ghost In The Shell, has Focus and** Z For Zachariah** awaiting release and has been playing Jane for David Yates’ new Tarzan movie.
