We already knew about Kodi Smit-McPhee, but now Richard Jenkins and Chloe Moretz have been announced as the co-stars in Let Me In, Matt Reeves' (Cloverfield) English-language remount of Let the Right One In.
Smit-McPhee is obviously the Oskar character: you'll be able to check out a Kodi performance when John Hillcoat's The Road is finally released. Richard Jenkins is a reliable character actor (check out the outstanding The Visitor if you've not seen it) who should effortlessly inhabit the tragic role of Eli's guardian.
Chloe Moretz, most recently seen in (500) Days of Summer but about to be a kick-ass assassin in, er, Kick-Ass, has a tougher role as a 100-year old vampire in a girl's body, but based on what we've seen of Kick-Ass, we suspect she can handle it. It's a long way from her early roles on Disney TV with Pooh and Tigger, but then Britney and Christina started their careers with Disney, and look how scary they turned out.
Let Me In is produced by the current incarnation of Hammer Films, and should be out next year.
