Everyone’s been talking about Narc helmer Joe Carnahan making White Jazz with George Clooney, but given the actor’s busy schedule, it looks like the director has time to fit in another film before it.
He’s negotiating to direct the long-developing thriller Bunny Lake Is Missing, which already has Reese Witherspoon circling the lead like a hungry hyena.
The plot will be based on the 1956 Preminger film which sees a woman report her daughter vanished, only for no evidence to be found that the girl even existed, leading cops to believe the worried mother is going crazy.
Carnahan is apparently working on a new script draft with writer Doug Wright.
