He's been through one cinematic zombie outbreak in his career already thanks to Shaun Of The Dead, so you'd think Martin Freeman would have had enough of violent pandemics. Nope! He's back facing the challenges of a world in chaos for Cargo, which has its latest trailer online.
Freeman stars as Andy, a father trying like all parents to make sure that his infant daughter Rosie is safe. That's made all the more challenging by the fact that A) he's stranded in rural Australia, B) the zombie uprising is in full swing after a mysterious infection, and C) he's been bitten by his wife, who already turned.
With the clock ticking, Andy has hours to find his daughter some protection before he too succumbs. With the local natives hunting anyone they suspect of being infected, he'll need some unexpected help in his quest.
Yolanda Ramke adapted her short film and directs alongside fellow filmmaker Ben Rowling. The cast includes Natasha Wanganeen and David Gulpilil, with Cargo set to hit Netflix on 18 May.
