The likes of The Fault In Our Stars explored teen angst and terminal illness, and new romantic drama Life In A Year has similar goals. Cara Delevingne and Jaden Smith are on board to star.
The film, which has a script by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, has Mitja Okorn attached to direct. Smith will be a teenager who discovers that his girlfriend (Delevingne) is dying, so he hits upon the idea to give her their entire life together, crammed into the year they have left. Sounds expensive... Is he going to buy a house and pay 60 years' health insurance in one go?
This one comes from Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment and is set to kick off shooting in Toronto this year. Delevingne has Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets due to arrive on 4 August and has worked on thriller Fever Heart. Smith is back on our screens in the next part of The Get Down, which returns to Netflix on 7 April.
