Cannes Jury Revealed

Director Steven Soderbergh, whose Sex Lies and Videotape first set Cannes Film Festival alight back in 1989 will this year be sitting in judgement on his fellow filmmakers. Joining Soderberg in the festival jury line-up announced today will be Meg Ryan, Indian actress Aishwarya Rai, Chinese director Jiang Wen (who won the Grand Jury Prize at Cannes in 2000), Bosnian director Danis Tanovic, Italian writer Erri De Luca and, representing the host country, actor Jean Rochefort, actress Karin Viard, and director Patrice Chereau.
