Welcome to the latest episode of Movies On The Move. With the world turning into a pandemic panic film itself, cinemas closed and studios finding new spots for releases, the next target for a change order is the Jordan Peele-produced re-imagining/continuation of the Candyman horror film legend.

Described more as a "spiritual sequel" to the original, the new movie finds Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as artist Anthony McCoy, who heads to the now-gentrified Cabrini-Green projects where the legend of the hook-handed horror began to investigate the mythos and discovers that it's all too real...

Nia DaCosta is directing the movie, which had originally been scheduled for a June release. Now Universal and MGM have announced that it'll land in September. Getting closer to Halloween feels like the right move, even if we still don't know exactly when the cinematic entertainment world's doors will re-open.
