Tom Arnold has signed up to play a gay caveman. No, take a second and read that again. We’re not joking.
He’s starring in Homo Erectus: A Caveman Comedy. The film’s being written and directed by Adam Rifkin, the man who last brought us Detroit Rock City.
The weird story will focus on Ishbo (Rifkin), a deep-thinking caveman who desperately loves Fardart (Ali Larter). But she’s craving Ishbo’s sexy-but-dim brother Thudnick. David Carradine and Talia Shire will add to the surreality as Ishbo’s parents, while Arnold’s homosexual erectus Rog brings the laughs.
