As if there isn't enough to watch out for in the upcoming Minority Report with all manner of sci-fi trickery bound to dazzle film fans, now there's a star cameo or two to clock when you finally get to see Spielberg's new film. At a certain point in the movie, Tom Cruise's character takes a journey on the subway during which he's observed over the edge of an interactive newspaper by a familiar face. Turns out that's director Cameron Crowe right there, and if you look over his shoulder you'll spot a familar blonde - Cameron Diaz. The story behind the cameo stems from director Steven Spielberg turning up for a party scene in Crowe's Vanilla Sky. 'It was my revenge,' explained Spielberg. 'I was just making a set visit to see Tom one day and Cameron said, "Tom doesn't know you're here, just stand in the party scene and just say his character name."' Spielberg ended up doing four takes. 'I said, "I'm going to get these guys.' Empire Online has seen the scene in question and can confirm that the duo are in the film. But it's a blink and you'll miss it moment.
