Cage And Kidman Will Trespass

Even as he starts thinking about pulling on the leather togs to play **Ghost Rider **again, Nicolas Cage has decided he definitely wants to work_with Nicole Kidman on Joel Schumacher’s next film, the action thriller **Trespass_.

Kidman, last seen warbling up a storm in Nine, has signed on to co-star with the actor in a tale of home invasion. A couple are taken hostage by four violent criminals in their house when the thieves arrive seeking an easy cash grab.

But that’s not the end of the story (since it would make for a fairly short, boring film). The event brings up unexpected issues between the two, with the revelation that the seemingly random crime might not be all it appears. All together now: Dun. Dun. Duuuuur!

Between this and the upcoming Twelve, there's a renewed chance for Schumacher to once again prove he can cut it as a thriller director, since more recent projects like The Number 23 just didn’t quite work out. But will Nic be playing in OTT mode and will Kidman keep up? Who will survive and what will be left of them? Sorry… got a bit carried away with the questions, there.

With Nu Image/Millennium backing this one from a script by Karl Gajdusek and Eli Richbourg, Schumacher will start the cameras cranking this August in Louisiana.
