Disney's G-Force is assembling itself a nice little cast. Announced today are the quintet of Nicolas Cage, Steve Buscemi, Tracy Morgan, Bill Nighy and Will Arnett. That's some comedy for any type of funny bone. If you don't recognise the name Tracy Morgan, he's from the brilliant US sitcom 30 Rock, which you should buy on region 1 DVD immediately.
G-Force, directed by Hoyt Yeatman, is a CG/live-action hybrid about a group of super-intelligent, highly trained animals who are employed by a government agency to keep an evil billionaire from taking over the world. Cage will voice Speckles, a mole; Buscemi will voice the hamster, Bucky; and Morgan will lend his tones to the guinea pig, Blaster. Nighy and Arnett will take live-action roles, playing an industrialist and FBI agent respectively. They join the already cast Zach Galifianakis, Kelli Garner, Gabriel Casseus and Jack Conley
We love that the movie has chosen such kiddy farm animals as its animal marines, rather than the usual big dogs. Who doesn't want to see a guinea pig going postal on a nefarious billionaire?
