Never ones to just sit around even with a success like Zootropolis (AKA Zootopia for those reading this where the name didn't have to be altered), directors Byron Howard and Jared Bush have been hard at work developing their next film for Disney's Feature Animation arm. According to Disinsider, it's currently titled Encanto.

Naturally, the Mouse House has yet to officially announce this one, so it'll have to live in the rumour-sphere for now. But the details are certainly intriguing – it'll reportedly be set in Brazil and focus on a family who all have magical powers, aside from one young woman who mysteriously doesn't appear to possess any.

Encanto – which translate to "charm" in English – also has the heavy-hitting song-writing power of Lin-Manuel Miranda, who worked on music for Moana. Bush apparently co-wrote the script with Charise Castro Smith, and Clark Spencer will produce alongside Yvett Merino Flores. Np word yet on when it might arrive, but Disney does have an untitled film scheduled for 2021, so that's a likely slot.
