Burt Gets 20:20 Vision

Movie tough guy Burt Reynolds has had his fading eye sight restored by the miracle of laser eye surgery. Like Courteney Cox, Reynolds had a high-tech operation that halted the effects of old age and chronic low blood sugar on his vision. A pal says, "Burt was really worried about his eyesight. His hypoglycaemia would sometimes get so bad he couldn't read scripts even with reading glasses. He was afraid he was going blind." But after researching the procedure which can cost several thousand pounds per eye, pals say Reynolds agreed to go under the laser - and within minutes his sight was as good as new.
