If ever there was an inspirational success story waiting to motivate anyone who dreams of cracking Hollywood by making a nerdy short film, Joe Nussbaum’s experience is the one.
Sadly, Warners isn’t making a movie based on his life. But it is giving him a shot at making one of theirs.
Nussbaum, who co-wrote and directed George Lucas In Love (one of the few Star Wars spoofs with a truly original idea and a glowing reaction from the man himself) has sold the comedy spec script Brad Cutter Ruined My Life… Again to the studio. The story focuses on a successful young chap whose life is thrown into turmoil when his titular former high school nemesis gets a job at his company and starts to turn his working life into a recreation of his school days.
