Actors from 2011's The Help have been finding ways to reunite on other projects for a while now, and the latest combo finds Bryce Dallas Howard and Octavia Spencer teaming up for a new comedy. They'll co-star in female ensemble pic Fairytale Ending.
The pair will also produce the film for Universal, working alongside Ted/Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins. The actual plot is being kept a secret for now, though the script comes from Jim Hecht and Tracy McMillan.
This marks the latest collaboration for Help veterans, as Spencer has already agreed to work alongside Jessica Chastain in a still-untitled Christmas comedy.
Spencer was last seen in Instant Family, and has the lead in new Blumhouse thriller Ma. She'll also voice Dab-Dab the duck in The Voyage Of Doctor Dolittle. Howard will be heard as the central pooch in A Dog's Way Home, out here on 25 January, has directed an episode of Star Wars-based TV series The Mandalorian and will be part of the cast for Rocketman, due on 24 May.
