In his continued effort to document every stage of X-Men: Days Of Future Past’s casting and production, director Bryan Singer has posted yet another picture from the set. This time, it doesn’t feature a prominent actor or piece of set design – but it does nod to an important element for the movie in the shape of Bolivar Trask.

Someone wearing a Trask Industries jumpsuit is the clearest signal yet that the man will be part of the movie. You know, if the fact that the Sentinels he created are set to feature weren’t already enough of a giveaway.

While no official confirmation has been forthcoming, much of the speculation around Peter Dinklage’s character has been pointed at Trask, and the actor certainly seems a good fit for a man who was facially modelled by creators Stan Lee and Jack Kirby after Walt Disney. Of course, we all know things can change in the transition from comics to movies: Trask, after all, was played by Bill Duke in The Last Stand

Whoever he ends up as, Dinklage is just one part of the movie, which will see our heroes battling to avoid a dark future where mutants are hunted and killed. The crammed cast list includes Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Fan Bingbing, Anna Paquin and Daniel Cudmore. X-Men Days Of Future Past will be with us on July 17 next year.
