Bruce Willis’s restaurant chain, Planet Hollywood, might be filing for bankruptcy in the States, but the success of his latest movie means that Brucie boy is laughing all the way to the bank. The Sixth Sense, in which Willis plays a child psychologist trying to help a disturbed boy who sees ghosts, has smashed box office records over the last few weeks, bringing in a jaw-dropping $175 million to a delighted Buena Vista. Part of the movie’s extended success may be to do with repeat business – the film has a last minute twist that’s prompting many cinemagoers to see the film a second time. Only two other movies have managed to stay more than one weekend in the number one slot in the States this summer, Star Wars Episode 1 and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. The Sixth Sense opens in the UK on 5 November
