Pierce Brosnan, Ed Harris and comic actor Jim Gaffigan have all signed onto Salvation Boulevard, a new comedic thriller about the US-style mega churches.

Based on Wag The Dog novelist Larry Beinhart’s book, Salvation finds a former Grateful Dead fan who converted to Christianity on the run from the fundamentalist members of his new church who are trying to protect the reputation of their charismatic preacher.

Douglas Stone and Joshua director George Ratliff wrote the script, which Ratliff plans to start shooting in April. Praise be!
