Broken Lizard Says Take My Wife

Since setting up their own production company on the Warner Brothers studio lot, the Broken Lizard boys have been grabbing spec scripts to develop left, right and centre.

Currently hard at work finishing up drinking comedy Beerfest, the troupe has bought Take My Wife from Lizard team member Paul Soter and fellow writer Lee Ellenberg.

The comedy follows a regular bloke who, for a laugh, agrees to swap wives with a Hollywood star. Things naturally go horribly – and hilariously – wrong.

Regular Lizard director Jay Chandrasekhar plans to helm, and the team will naturally work on the script together and all take acting roles. But it's not known if this will happen before fellow in-development projects Ambulance Chasers and Nutcracker.
