The Hurt Locker’s Brian Geraghty has signed on for what he’s probably hoping{ =nofollow}will be a slightly less explosive thriller in the shape of ATM, alongside fellow actors Josh Peck and Margarita Levieva.

David Brooks is directing the movie, which finds the three making a late-night visit to a cash machine, only to discover that the seemingly safe act has put all their lives in danger when an unknown assailant corners them.

Chris Sparling, who wrote the Ryan Reynolds-under-Iraq pic Buried, is behind the script, which according to the Hollywood Reporter has “Hitchcockian vibes”. Hopefully that doesn’t mean because AH will be turning quickly in his grave over the idea that the movie can measure up.

Peck is still best known for The Wackness, and he’s just finished working on the Red Dawn remake, while Levieva appeared in Adventureland and is busy on the Matthew McConaughey pic The Lincoln Lawyer.

ATM is scheduled to kick off shooting next month in Canada.
