Bruce Willis has been excitedly chatting about how close Die Hard 4 is to becoming a reality after years in the cinematic ether, and now the movie even has a director.
Len Wiseman, the man responsible for both Underworld movies, will helm the next Die Hard, which sees John McClane creaking out of retirement to fight Internet terrorists (hhm… wonder if Fox will find a way to plug MySpace?).
Mark Bomback (Godsend) and Doug Richardson (Hostage) have written the latest draft of the script – that’s number 45,296 for anyone still counting – and now all we have to do is hope they get the cameras running before Bruce is reduced to beating the bad guys over the head with his colostomy bag.
