She may well qualify as not inferior eye candy, but Kate Hudson won't be too many boyfriends' favourite gal at the news she's lined up yet another rom-com in which to fall in love. With her latest How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days about to make its bow in the States and another amour obsessed flick Loosely Based on a True Story also heading our way, she's now chosen the new tale from the girliest of girl's favourite author, Sophie Kinsella, as her next project. Best known for her bestseller 'Shopaholics' series of books – boys, we told you this was bad – Kinsella's new novel Can You Keep A Secret? will be published here in the UK in March and trust us, will be in every self-respecting girl's handbag quicker than the latest new advance in lippy. Kinsella's tale focuses on a British junior marketing exec who makes her first business trip to Glasgow only to encounter turbulence during the flight and blurt out all her personal secrets to the handsome American hunk seated beside her. Once safely landed and back at her desk, the boss of her company arrives to visit the UK branch and - wouldn't you just know it – turns out to be very familiar indeed. With mistaken identities, inadvertent soul-baring and all kinds of comic situations galore, this sounds perfect rom-com territory – ideal for all those girlies out there but unfortunately pure living hell for their respective partners. Boys, just don't complain you haven't been warned.
