Bad news if you were behind one of the new movies released this weekend at the US box office - The Blind Side and New Moon clung on to the top spots, though they swapped places.
After three weeks on release, Blind Side - starring Sandra Bullock as the matriarch of a family who takes in a poor black kid and help him realise his potential as an American Football player - finally overcame the Tween-beloved vamps to snatch the top spot with $20.4 million to New Moon's $15.7 million.
Still, Summit won't worry - New Moon is still holding strong, and performed well enough to see off the highest new entry, Jim Sheridan's Brothers. The drama, which finds Natalie Portman turning to brother-in-law Jake Gyllenhaal for support after she thinks soldier hubby Tobey Maguire has been killed in action, notched up $9.7 million.
Going further down the list, A Christmas Carol took in $7.5 million, while Old Dogs barked at $6.9 million. The next fresh entry down the list was heist movie Armored, which grabbed $6.6 million.
You have to go all the way down to number 10 to find this week's other wide release, the Robert De Niro family drama** Everybody's Fine**, which underperformed with $4 million.
We'd make note, however, of Jason Reitman's latest, Up In The Air, which rode some hefty Oscar buzz and a great George Clooney performance to $1.2 million on just 15 screens. That one will take off soon...
