Neil Gaimand and Roger Avery are currently putting pen to paper in order to bring us a horror romance - unlikely as that sounds. In no way connected to the 1979 Disney adventure, Black Hole is instead based on a 12-issue comic book series from writer/illustrator Charles Burns. The story concerns a group of adolescents whose lives are irreparably altered when thy come into contact with the 'teen plague' - a virulent STD.

The comic, now compiled into an acclaimed graphic novel, took ten years to complete and tackles the pertinent themes of adulthood, sex and ostracism. So a little something for everyone here.
