As production creeps ever closer on Black Adam, the Shazam!-associated DC movie that has Dwayne Johnson in the title role, the cast is beginning to assemble. Aladdin's Marwan Kenzari is the latest to join the ensemble.
Jaume Collet-Serra is in the director's chair, though exact details of the plot are being kept quiet. We do know that it'll offer some origin details on Johnson's character, and that he'll cross paths with the Justice Society of America, which (so far) comprises Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.
Kenzari, most recently seen in The Old Guard is playing a character that is a mystery for now. The cameras should be cranking in April in Atlanta, and the movie is still awaiting a release date.
