You may know that Empire currently features among its contributor ranks one Billy Zane, who doles out advice to readers every month in his column. He'll be advising someone in a fictional manner in Lucid, the drama he has joined alongside Sadie Frost.
Adam Morse is making his film directorial debut with the new movie, which he also wrote. It focuses on lonely young introvert Zel (Laurie Calvert) who longs to overcome his anxieties and reinvent himself. He has a chance of that when his enigmatic neighbour Eliot (Zane) starts to show him what is possible via the art of lucid dreaming.
The cameras are rolling now in London, with Sophie Kennedy Clark, Felicity Gilbert and Cristian Solimeno also in the cast.
Zane returned to cameo as himself in Zoolander 2 and has worked on indie sci-fi Blue World Order and comedy White Island. Frost last appeared in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.
